I'm a sophmore in highschool and I play in the marching band and I absolutely LOOOVE it!!! I especially love watching historically black college bands performing. My friend told me about this event called battle of the bands held at the Georgia Dome….how is the show? Is it worth going to? How much are tickets?
Yes I have. It's really good. I enjoyed watching the bands from the HBCU's compete, if FAMU is there, they are always on point because they have so many people in the band. The formations that they do are amazing.
It's worth it, and there are always celebrities there performing as an added treat. It's one of the better family venues here in Atlanta. The tickets are fairly cheap, I think the prices vary. The Honda Battle is in January, so with this being July you still have a long way to go.
