I have been chosen to become drum major of my high school band not this but next marching season. I am supposed to attend drum major camp but I am not sure where to go. The last two drum majors we have had attended Smith Walbridge at Eastern Illinois University and have been less than successful in leading the group. The one before that attended BOA DMA and did a great job, however she had a fantastic DM to train her at home as well. I live in southern Illinois and do not want to go too terribly far as camp is expensive in itself. I was merely wondering is anyone had any experience wth either one of these or even some knowledge of one. Please let me know if you do as I am completely lost on which I should attend.

Smith Walbridge Drum Major camp is better.
