buddy calm down. i’m not in any way glorifying any form of violence. especially among my own black people! previous comments made it seem like famu fans attacked the Jukebox b/c of the Juke’s performance in Bragg that nite. that’s untrue and i attempted to clear up that misconception. some fans were bitter b/c we loss a close game to SU’s football team, so they took their frustration out on the Juke as you guys marched thru campus. those fans were wrong for what they did.

and we couldnt have a 5th qtr in 01 because YOUR police security came to us and told us to leave.and in no way were we victimized by fam in 01. i guess you think becuase you all do some big formations on the field that means that you were better…i was in the stands watching it. it gets boring after a while.and we played contagious on yall’s es before you went on the field,so how were we in any way shape or form,VICTIMIZED?

yall fans didnt do but get hit with drum mallets as far as i saw….and we marched through yall school playing believe in me. when we got on the busses one of our directors was mad because the bass drum section leader whapped a famu fan wit a bass drum mallet.no one from our band was harmed nor injured.

the fight in ‘01 …
the fight in ‘01 was about the football game’s down-to-the-wire close outcome. nuthin to do wit the Juke’s performance. rattler fans felt cheated and took their anger out on SU’s band since they couldnt get to SU’s football players lol

‘99 I dont remember …
‘99 I dont remember SU’s show. but I remember “down bottom” and “hate me now” in the stands!! i will NEVER forget the score at halftime was 30-sumthin to zip!! i doubt the Jukebox put it on the field tho lol. i remember the 100rd’s digital clock formation to “15 mins”. 5thQ was classic with both playing “chante’s gotta man” and some faith evans joints. i’m goin off str8 memory b/c i was there but i gotta see a tape to fill in the holes to determine the winner. shoot it’s been 7 yrs! lol

i dont remember there being a 5thQ in 01. SU got revenge in the stands from the previous yr. but the 100rd handed the Jukebox they azz on the field (again). that nite FAMU debuted the best arrangement of “Contagious”. too bad SU had to be the unlucky victim.

in 2000 i was a crab at the s and yeah doc ed over us and made us leave and fam stayed till midnight and put on a nice over session…..it happenes to the best of us….but we got revenge in 01…weak fans mad tryin to fight

the reason why SU has more power than FAM is because of the brass, FAM has over 100+ woodwinds when the brass is just about even with SU except for the tuba section and since ya want to talk about old SU murk’ed FAM in 93 and 95 with power

these are to great bands, FAM has a nice concert sound
and SU has a powerful sound like no other, FAM has a nice balance because of all the woodwinds, put as far as power SU got that
